Hendrix Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Combo to present concert
The Hendrix College Percussion Ensemble and Jazz Combo will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Sunday in Staples Auditorium on the Hendrix College campus.

The jazz combo will perform Black Orpheus by Luiz Bonfa and St. Thomas by Sonny Rollins.
The percussion ensemble will follow with Jesu, Joy of Man´s Desiring by J.S. Bach, featuring Dana Callaway on flute. Percussionists Joshua Riley and Dylan Sherwood will be featured on Concertino for Marimba by Paul Creston and Wind in the Bamboo Grove by Keiko Abe.
The concert will end with a joint performance by the percussion ensemble and jazz combo. They will play Margaritaville by Jimmy Buffett and Stayin´ Alive by the Bee Gees.

The jazz combo members are Colin Hoy, Alto Saxophone; Tim Pote, Trombone; Josh Hernandez, Guitar; Aaron Crawford, Bass; Daniel Ferkin, Percussion; and Dylan Sherwood, Percussion.
Percussion ensemble members are Dana Callaway, Joshua Riley, Dylan Sherwood, Cayce Guy, Alex Laywell, and Joseph Daily. The percussion ensemble is directed by Mr. Erick Saoud and the jazz combo is directed by Dr. Barry McVinney.
